Elective Module, winter semester
The elective module "Design of Structures" is offered as a seminar in the winter semester and builds on the content of the courses from the "Design and Construction A" module.
The knowledge acquired in the basic courses „Design and Construction A“ is expanded to include spatial structures, shell and membrane structures, structures for tall buildings and the principles of prestressing. Design strategies for complex structures and the sensible use and limits of building materials and support systems are developed and applied in own designs.
